Hello,

I have been re-reading my EA rule book. I have a question.

Do blast markers suppress a model in the unit eligible to fire or any model in the formation?

Example: I have one Hydra in the formation with one blast marker. Sense it is the only unit that can shot AA does the one blast marker suppress the Hydra?

A similar question is related range. if a formation of 10 models only have 5 models in range but they have 5 blast markers does that negate all shooting?

I am trying to recall how it worked exactly.

Thanks

BMs suppress units in range and LoS. If a unit doesn't have bother of those, it can't be suppressed.

Example 1) maybe, it depends what else is in the formation. If it's autocannon armed guard then the hydra would only be suppressed if it was furthest from the aircraft. A weapon doesn't need to be able to hit/hurt the target to be suppressed, it only needs range and LoS.

Example 2) yes. 5 models in range and 5 BMs means there's no shots due to suppression.
