I actually have a half written list builder that automatically builds up a reference sheet. It's a lot of work though to get a combination of this and adam77's armyforge. I haven't tackled set formation structures yet, you have to build each formation manually..
GIMMIE!!!!!
love armyforge, with this it would be even more awesome,
on the unit cards:
what would be handy is a template for cards maybe x4 per a4 page, i have downloaded one for battlefleet gothic, - its a compelted one with image and stats you just print and put in a card sleeve and use a marker for noting damage
even a blank template you can insert your own unit image, and have the stats fields blank and a section for special rules, you then just fill in the stats and print, a bit of labour but you put them in a card sleeve and it will do the job - nothing wrong with the reference sheet by the way!
i dont have the skills to do the above, it would be nice for net epic armageddon
I'm working on these at the moment, unfortunately it's a bit of a 'learn as you go' sort of affair, but I think I'm getting there.... my plan will be to have a card, approx A6 size, with a nice arty pic of the war engine in question, the unit stats, weapons, special rules and critical hits, then at the bottom there will be spaces to track shields, damage and crits/fires (if applicable) the idea would be to print, cut out, stick onto card, laminate and use dry-erase markers to write and keep track of damage etc
basically if you've played warmachine/hordes, I'm trying to replicate the 'jack/beast cards for war engines
when I'm happy with it, I'll post up the ones I finish, as well as a blank template and instructions for people to make their own
hope it's of use
