The only piece so har that has caught my interest is the "road mat" accessory. I wonder how wide it is and if it might be suitable for EPic scale too... ???

I would strongly consider playing 40K apocalypse with Epic models.

According to one guy whowas on the German GD the alternate muzzle is a more powerful Demolisher with Range: 48" and a 9" Blast template.

Ste standard Banmeblade Battlecannon has Range 72" Stregth 8 Ap 3 and a 10" Blast template!

I really really hope this is just an extremely elaborate marketing ploy to re-stirr interest in Epic:
1: Market Apocalypse heavily, stressing the coolness factor of fielding large formations of troops.
2: Make sure everything is too expensive and requires too much space for regular consumers to be able to play the game.
3: Casually point the customers towards Epic, which is much more economically sound, both financially and size-wise...

Hoorray!!!! Epic is back in business!!!

...Oh wait... GW would never do a thing like that... :p

I think the new IG Baneblade looks cool although the Nurgle one is a bit eeeuuww! However the rest I have heard & seen about Apocalypse makes me even more releived that I no longer play W40k!!

Yeah, how well will the various squadron boxes sell? I can see the Baneblade selling well (and will probably purchase one myself), but why would someone buy a box of 10 Leman Russ? If there's a sizable markdown for purchasing in bulk, some big-spenders might resell the sprues, but then that would be counter-productive for GW.

My prediction: Baneblade will sell well, the remainder will sell poorly.

I've heard that the Baneblade will be sold, at least in the US, at a sale price of 3 for about the price of 2.5.
