| Hi! First, congratulations for the list, it is characterful and fun. I had a question about this : "You may not have more Hunting packs of any one type than you do Great Companies" Let's take an example. Does that mean : 1) one GC allows me to field one long fang pack and one wolf guard pa... |

Hi guys
Sorry for this late answer, I went through a work heavy week and spend a lot of times during week ends to settle down here.
@warhead : so no time to plan a trip to your place now, I'll tell you as soon as I find some.
@Goin' Kommando : I'm sending you a PM
cheers! |

| Well I don't have car myself but public transports should be fine for me. Dundee-Glasgow seems to take one hour and half by train. I've planned to spend some time in Glasgow quite soon, at least to visit the city during a week-end. Maybe we could share a few drinks, if you're not too busy, Warhead? ... |

| Hi all! It has been quite some time since I haven't logged on those boards, as I haven't had much time for wargaming. So I'd start with a big hello to the whole Epic community! But the situation has changed and I'm now happy to have more free time again. My only problem is that I have just relocated... |

| I tend to agree with Hena. Pylons seem balanced to me against every army except airbourne marines. In a typical 3000-point game, I field 2 thunderhawks. Including the cargo that s often around 1200 points. Perhaps am I wrong but it does not seem too much to me. My necron opponent used to field 2 pyl... |

This makes sense, and scouts can really protect a formation from air assault.
As mentioned in your linked, the wording of the FAQ is not that clear, IMHO. I would only take it in consideration to avoid the "scouts screening from behind" situation, which is the spirit of the FAQ.
Thanks. |

| Thanks for the answers. To be more precise, here is what the rules say... According to the handbook : Quote: Once a unit has entered the target’s Zone of Control the requirement to move to base contact takes precedence over other restrictions and it may move through another unit’... |

| Hi! After a ( too ) long time without playing Epic, I finally had the time to play again. This was a nice 3000 point game, marines versus guards. Unfortunatly, we had some rules issues and I guess the nice people of these boards will gently help me solve them... 1) We were playing using the rules in... |

| Hi! We've been discussing a bit in my gaming group about air assaults, the rules for engagements, and how to counter them. The most common tactic used involved scouts units surrounding another, more important, formation. The scouts protect from teleporting assaults and FF air assaults, as you cannot... |

| Some more points : - if a formation receives disrupt and normal hits, the defender chooses which unit get the disrut and which unit gets the normal hits right? - Should lance weapon hits be allocated during the MW allocation phase or during the normal phase? Now I think it is during the normal phase... |

Thanks for the the answer. We've been playing with the full experimental rules with "common sense" to avoid the situation I described. But we'll try the Net EA rules ( By the way great job for these papers ) |

| Hi! This subject is being discussed a lot on the french forum. What I can say is that we're all a bit confused. Concerning experimental rules,let's take an example: - A warlock titan and 6 guardians are engaged by a formation of 8 orks. - 4 orks are in Btb with the titan, the bpyz and guardians are ... |
