Sorry for the last minute notice. We've got a few planned games of Epic for this evening and room for any unplanned games, so all are invited to launch a barrage and quaf a pint!

The Flames of War tournaments were a huge success at Britcon. The organisers put a lot of effort in the tables-- they were truly stunning, all 10 of them, without any help from Battlefront. (A resourcefull bunch; they borrowed much of the scenery from sources at GW!) I spoke to many DBx players who ...

Hiall! Great Epic party last week, with 10 players spread over an Orkingraad table, a desert table and an arctic fuel refinery table. Much beer was consumed. And a few found new reasons to hate the Eldar and Orks. Strangely, the core Epic players all planned holidays for this week, so Epic will cont...

Hi James,
Heh, yeah I guess I did sign on a few months after you. Glad to hear your doing so well!
Stop by when you get a chance. We should have a city fight table with 40 buildings, desert airstrip table and arctic fuel refinery station table set up this week.

I just spoke to the organisers some more about this. They say NOBODY even enquired about Epic at Britcon. Apparently, I was the first. The whole point of introducing new games/blood to their competion list is to sell more table space, so that they can bring in more traders, all of which will bring i...

I just found out about Epic at Britcon, (as was posted here, should have checked in more often!), but was told by a Britcon staffer yesterday that there was "no interest whatsoever", and so was struck from the event!

Hi all, It seems that Epic has taken hold at our local club. We've been playing fairly solidly for the last six months. So, I thought it would be good to tell others in the area interested in getting a game in. Central London Wargames Club is held every Tuesday, starting around 6:30pm, fairly inform...

Heya Doodlebug, Were conveniently located right by the Euston train station. You should pop by the yahoo group to see what's going on. Also, there is a link with clear directions. Yeah, Essex is a bit far. I think there are a few bigger clubs that might be better for you... But, you are welcome anyt...
