With great regret, I have to announce that the list I played with, posted here was illegal, a fact that only came to light yesterday during an email conversation with Dave. This was as much a shock to me as it was to Dave and I can only apologise to him and the rest of the competitors for the compl... |

I used to use Epic bases with differing numbers of blu-tac blobs on them! |

Yarrrr! I thought about it and realised that "F*ck it. I really want to go."
First time I've applied paintbrush to models for some time to get my army up to 4000pts painted! |

I never understood why Crisis suite didn't have a MW FF attack. |

Cool, cool!
PM me your E-mail address Mike and I'll add you to the mailing list (Although it's rather slow at the moment. As I'm sure Steve can confirm, waiting to hear from Curis can be a bit of a test....). |

Dark Eldar players... This exact situation came up last week when I played Ron's Dark Eldar. I set up his one objective on the far edge of the table, and the other one in dangerous terrain. However, he anticipated my doing this and preceded those placements by placing his blitz in open ground on on... |

If its not too much of a trek, we're usually in mansfield of a thursday evening and you fancy a game? It might be a bit of Trek from Manchester for a Thursday evening! Unless of course any of you need a Boiler fitting one Thursday in which case it could be a work trip (And thus tax deductable - yay... |

I've been looking at the events schedule of late and they're all too far for me. Brit-con is always a bugger for me too, as it's nearly always on my Wedding Anniversary weekend (Doh!) I could probably make it this year but outright refuse to pay £50 for what is essentially Gaming Hall rental. If the... |

In the past, as some of you may remember, I've had some success running a Black Templars army. Now after a lengthy time away from Epic (A result of multiple Spawnings and players moving away to Nottingham to start "Dream jobs" - The selfish barstards!) opportunity has once again raised it'... |

Just noticed the +25pts to Void Spinners in the EUK Eldar list whilst using the army builder (Been away from Epic for a while).
Paid the extra points without a moments hesitation and these guys compete with Falcons and Fire Prisms (Eldar's main source of AA and AT) in terms of price and list space. |

Small sample size, perhaps, but in my one big tournament Necrons were #2 and #3, and both had a different big harvester. There's also a 100 pts cost reduction in there. Bottom line is that Harvesters are secondary to LM as an overall rule. First balance LM against Monoliths and Portals, then fix Ha... |

Harvester engines do need some boost to compensate for the the down-grading of LM. If I remember correctly I think E-UK reduce their points and played around with some of the weapons. I still think that the Aeonic Orb is still a bit of dead duck in their list but the Abbatoir is properly awesome and... |
