As promised my tutorial how to make defiler without any hard to get GW parts
- or any GW parts at all

here is stuff the Defiler will be made from
included plasticard, Dark Eldar spikey bits -( could be replaced by any hand made spikes)
and 2 GW skulls - could be replaced by anything - they are the decor for canon mount and head) - i just dont have anything other than GW but they shouldnt be hard to get

rest is old super glue tube plug - defiler uses two thin wheels cut from it - any tube of similar size will suffice, or wheels with hole cut from plasticard
they are shoulders of the defiler

two pins are for repeater autocanon

round poker chit is for base

tommorow i will post step by step how i made them :>

Although I am not really a chaos fan, I am a fan of really cool conversions.  I like the look of the models and the fact that it looks like its not one of those really hard converions, but gives you a really great mini when your done.  Look forward to the step by step.

Kill the macro function and manually focus as close as you can?

without the tripod its no use, as my hands are too shaky

here comes another part

grid is 10 mm on my photos

first we need a head
i made it by cutting 6 piece of the plasticard around 10*6-7 mm

then glue them together in shape of steep stairs

now the legs

we need 4 similar ( but best not identical) legs
(i prefer not identical becouse it has more intresting pose then)

what is important:
1: leg should have 3 sections
and middle one should be longest - there we will mount armour
2: uper part of the leg - mount should be paralel to lower part of the feet
(unless you want to make some strange pose and decide to make all legs diffrent)

legs should have little les than 10 mm ni height
and 3-8-5 to 7 ratio ?starting from feet part

then its time for base

i chose coffin shape to it but i used rectangle with cuted off angles
what is important that fron part should be wider to allow for arms montage

now we need to cut out place for gluing legs to the basis, as i use 1 mm plasticard cut should have around 1 mm deep
you should try now arranging the legs and check for yourself how long in the leg cut should go
- its best for construction part to have longer leg joint with body to let legs stick to each other not only to basis but that really is an extras - you dont need it to as can be seen in next photo

and legs glued:
