Greetings!
The GW Bunker at Oakville (Ontario) is having another EPIC event! ?Festivities begin at 9:00am on Saturday May 6th. ?
3000 point armies, experimental rules recommended, and experimental armies allowed.

Any thought on how long it will last?
Will you get started quickly?
My son and I are interested in coming up from Buffalo, but we have a show (Camelot) to do that evening and would need to leave by 2:30 pm at the latest I would think.

Last time it was three 3000 Tournament games and I believe it went until 7:00pm. Having to leave at 2:30 isn't goint to give you much of a chance to play three times.
What armies would you be bringing?
I recommend calling the store at the number above and asking for Chris, the manager, as he's organizing it... I'm just the messenger... don't shoot!

I went to the Oakville battle bunker last year (some pictures) and it was a pleasant 6 hour drive. ?If you have your own transportation, if your back can stand hours in a car, and if you can afford to make it a 3 day weekend, then it can be a LOT of fun! ?Get on MapQuest or maps.google.com and find you exactly how long the trip would be.
Sadly, my wife is out of town that weekend, and I have to watch the kids, otherwise I'd be going myself.

Well, I'm not 100% I'll be fielding the Cult or not yet... so many armies... so few tournaments... *laugh*

I'm coming, and I hope to bring a Friend, but were both realy new, he hasnt played a single game, and I have'nt played in 2 months, so... gonna be ugly.

Well, I think a good time was had by... all? *laugh* I believe there were a total of six players, all with different armies:
Black Legion
Space Marines (Go Fire Ants!)
Steel Legion
Tau
Tyranids
Ulthw? Eldar (me)
I've got pictures of some of the fights which I'll be posting later with some comments.
I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did and I hope to face off against you again soon!

I went there, but my Girlfriend got a job offer and she needed to go.. so that ended that... poor gaurd.
Oh well maybe next month, but all the armies looked good. Chris's tau looked fantastic
