Hi everybody, 

The International Warlord Challenge 2019 follows the event organized in 2009 and in 2010 in Brussels, Belgium and in Lyon in 2017. This year it will be still in Lyon, France with the goal to gather 40 Epic Armaggedon players from France, Europe and (who knows) the world !
This is an Epic Armaggedon tournament of 40 players maximum.

REGISTRATION
The cost of the registration is 40€. Please pay with Paypal to doyouknow@hotmail.fr (use option payment to a friend please - no commission).
Please send your registration to this email address as well.
The cost will include the tournament itself, lunch on Saturday and Sunday, a snack on Saturday evening and … a little nice surprise for all players.

The rulebook can be seen on the website of F-ERC. It’s the regular rulebook of the game EA. 
Every player has to create a 3500 points list for the Grand Tournament Scenario of the rulebook.
The lists will be checked by the organizers of the event before the weekend.

I have 4 laptops in this room and cannot play a pixel pushing tabletop simulator on any of them.

I’m interested in coming along and taking part. I only speak English though and am not sure how much of an issue that would be for the event?

I'm wondering the same thing. I might be interested if we can get by in English. I could try and learn some basic French but I have a terrible memory so am bad at learning languages.

Is the Titan Legion list on the FERC site ok to use at the tournament? They'd be quick to play which would help.

Don't worry at all about the language. If you speak english that will be all good. Two years ago LargoW came and he spoke english during the weekend and that was not a problem.

Payday's this weekend so I may buy a ticket then, never been to France before so why not make the first trip for miniature warfare?

That will be great ! Lyon is only 2 hours from Paris or Marseille with the TGV so if you want to spend few more days in France before or after the Epic event that will be pretty easy.

I had a question about how the French community plays epic, notably about line of sight. I know some different communities play that differently.

How do you treat line of sight and terrain blocking sight, etc.?
