I find it's actually easier and quicker to paint visually satisfying minis in the smaller scales than the larger. It's a shame that that is not more well known by the gaming community in general. I rememember back in the early '90's everyone in the gaming group I was involved in wouldn't touch Epic minis nor play because they felt the scale was impossible to paint.
Excellent work on the minatures, I to love painting and converting 6mm, Have done a few 28mm minatures lately and didnt find it as enjoyable as painting 6mm scale. I suppose its a scale thing as you can pretty much build what ever structure etc as you like in 6mm, where as 28mm you are limited to what you would physically want to build.
Plus the 6mm standard these days is out of this world

that mixed with the large armies you can build makes it a definate winner over larger scale stuff!
