I know on ebay, and I have found one site, but is there other sites where you can buy used or new space marine stuff like at epic 40k superstore?

that is the only one I have found so far.

What stuff are you after? A fair amount of trading of unwanted epic models goes on the forums here.

Have seen the stuff that's available on GW.

I can see they come with the later bases so i'd have to get some old square bases but are the actual models plastic? It doesn't actually say in the descriptions and they seem a bit on the expensive side.

Also are they the same castings as has been used since 2nd edition days?

The blister InF. is metal
The boxed InF. is plastic and a lot cheaper

and yes they are alll expensive
I think most of them is the same casting except the Imperial Inf.

So the SM Battle Company is plastic then i presume?
Whilst the Terminators (8 stands) are metal?

I presume that from Epic 40k onwards they changed the Battle Company structure?

I'm getting back into playing 2nd edition and the Battle Company is like this:

1x HQ stand + rhino
6x Tactical stands + 3 Rhinos (Tactical detachment)
6x Assault stands + 3 Rhinos (Assault detachment)
6x Devastator stands + 3 Rhinos (Devastator detachment)

Thats still the netepic size and the size I use
but with the battle company from GW you don´t get rhinos
there are inside:
devstators
jump packs
and marines

Yeh it's listed as 24 stands of tactical marines and 8 stands of assault marines.

There are quite clearly devastators in the picture so they must be counted in the tactical stands.

With 8 stands of assault marines i presume this means there are 40 assault figures?

But how many tactical and devastators?

The missing guys must be the jump packs
