I've heard good things about the model air line due to the smaller flecks but I haven't had opportunity to pick it up.

yeah t's pure space magic. I only use VMA metalics at this point, airbrush or not

let's add this line to the potential variations as well

Apparently Liquid Gold is the nuts. I stopped short of using it because it's alcohol based and can't come into contact with water. That means separate brushes, dedicated cleaning solution, etc. Too much faf for me :P

Not so bad if you're into oils and enamels as you generally have a set up that way to work anyways. But yeah it's a lot of extra concerns.
sadly i missed the boat with my italian custodes so this is sitting idle anyhooss
More 411 for Vaaish to consider for the future.

I'm sure this didn't used to be a paint in the 80's.

I'm not dead yet and I finally have something to post. It's been a bit and I didn't expect these to take as long as they did, but life and work sapped most of my energy. For my Cadmus knights, here is a unit Armiger Warglaves and Armiger Helverins. They are mounted on pennies for size reference.

Nah, probably not. I did a shot a while back when I finished up the lancers, paladins, and errants. I don't think I did one with the Prophyrons yet and I'll probably hold off until I finish the 6 AA gun transports to round out the last of the army before I think about another group shot.

Neat, I didn't realize those snuck in before the end. Or are they from somewhere else outside of Aus?

Missed you're post by like three months :) Yeah I think these were right at the end.

In other news, I finished up what I think is the last of the Blood Raven's dreads. Just 6 infantry stands and tray of vehicles to go. :)

So I finished another thing. :) Painting time has been rather limited recently and it's been harder to get motivated. However, I did try a few new things with the metals and picked up a couple pots of the Vallejo Metal Color line. I'm quite happy with the result on there and I think I want to pick up one midrange between Steel and Chrome.
