Like Primarch, I noticed it too. Some people just don't get it. I agree, your advice was very reasonable. I can't imagine there are too many epic players looking to buy entire armies. I'm guessing it will be a long time before he sells everything he wants to.

The funny thing was, I was willing to buy the IG army and he kept saying the SMs had to be part of the deal. I suspect the SM stuff was a pile of smelly stuff. 
In any case, he sent me a private message to let me know he sold the entire batch as one lot to someone. I am happy for him and hope who ever bought it got their "$1,000 plus $75 in shipping" worth of stuff.

Got 9 Epic Armies, and have not done a total inventory ... yet !

I'm shocked now ! I've been reorganizing my ("small") War Room, just to make space for all the new and unfinished old stuff (terrain, E:A, 'Nids, Tau, etc., etc. !!)

I am working on it slowy ! Using the SM1 TO&E system is very helpful. But unlike many, I just have one or two dets of each type/Mk./model. Save for Rhinos, L/Raiders, Mk.1 Falcons, Type 1 Ork B/Wagons (All plastic), etc. ...

"House" rules are rapidly becoming E:A with some items from SM1/AT1, SM2/TL, E40K, etc., added !

Went over to a local con this weekend.It was sad to see, the con is headed toward death. The dealer room seemed slightly better, but the miniature room lacked any real depth and the rest seemed empty. 
On the other hand I went into the pool again with the Kids. It is so nice to get to hang out with them. I know they will be gone soon enough.
Picked up some more stuff for my 15mm armies. More of the older RAFM Heavy Gear. and I also put a bid or two down on some Epic stuff.
Warning the next part is not for the faint of heart.
I was in the Garage and was getting something for the wife when I dropped a box. OK not a big deal as it was a Chrsitmas tree stand made from cast iron and would never break. Well, except it landed on my IG troops box.
I sat there and just wanted to cry. I started to look over the damge, but I stopped after I hit 20 stands with broken troops. I might head back out in a few days and see whatthe full extent of the damage. For now, I will just sit and try to stop hearing the sick sound. You know the "crunch" sound.
