Working on Pascal programming right now, and it goes on rather well. Something called "Fibonacci's string" (or something like that) that was supposed to be insanely difficult I have managed to program correctly within 5 minutes.

Fibonnaci sequence? Ain't it:

x=0;
y=1;
output x;
z = x + y;
x = y;
y = z;
loop;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number

After the basics, the rest of that page makes my head hurt. :oo

/to the point

I would like to be doing the finishing touches with (the To6G Iron Warriors) Decimator 2's conversion, so I can get on with painting them both. But, the Milliput's not feeling 100% set yet. So I'm working on extra Rhinos instead, and thinking about how I'm gonna convert champions for and base the Forlorn Hopes (they need more obvious bases to make em stand out from the regular CSMs).

Oh aye, and i'm working on persuading one of my workmates he wants to dust off his old 40k imperial guard and break out the lasguns and battlecannons. He's only just gone and forked out for a pile o stormtroopers.

I'm not that bad an influence on people. Really.

Hi!

I must say I really like that color scheme Jimbo.

Now if I could only actually do it.... :;):

Yep, thats the Fibonacci sequence. It is a common Computer task. It is not too difficult, but strangely it is often the first few numbers that are the most difficult.

I've just constructed, painted and flocked 600 hexes for a terrain board. I'm somewhat sick of terrain at the moment...

You said that, man! Oddly enough, the man who is teaching me Pascal programming said that many of his students have promptly failed when they received a task of programming that. Odd.

Just wrote an extra bit to the routine that actually displays the sequence as it is calculated.

I remember doing that Fibbonaci sequence as the first assignment in a C+ course. Made my head hurt, but it was the later assignments that really got me frustrated and made me switch to Psychology :blush:  I would like to be really good programming but I just don't think I'm built that way  :{

Amen to that :;):  I don't know how the stuff works, I just make use of it as best I can. :D
Some may call it ignorance. I just call it "knowing your limitations" :p :;): (...And I remember hearing somewhere that "ignorance is strength" so I guess it's not all bad :;):  )

Cheers!

Trust me, that may actually be a glowing reference!  :D  I managed to find a path that did both programming and psychology!  :L

Been working some more on the dragon. The saddle and lance is noow complete. Just need to finish the rider and the base.

I also dug out some old Plague Marines which I've been meaning to give a coat of paint for ages. ...Speaking of which: I have also begun on a "secret project"... I'm not revealig too much at this time except that it is epic related. ...Mainly because there's a pretty good chance that I'll screw it up :p

Cheers! :)
