LOL! :D ?You're nuts V! :;): ?I really like the paint scheme. It really looks like some sort of weird rusty concrete/metal type material.

Aw, shucks, thanks!
And youy're right about the paint scheme - that's what I tried to represent.
Whatever TzHD is, he was certainly one of the most fun models I've ever made - worth the while! Perhaps, especially for the response.
But Dysartes is right, I guess - once more unto the breach!  :D

Curret projects that are actually going somewhere:

- 3 Falchions (just need gold on the prows and a black wash on the engines)
- 1 FW Multiple Rocket Pod Sentinel (assembled, basecoated)
- 10 Steel LEgion IG (undercoated)

Oh well, at least, someone does!
:D

By the way, nice work Freshmetal - I like sketches! My favourite would be the third one, with the large flaming exhausts.

I'm modeling in epic scale again. I've recieved commissions from an old friend for a new tank type, a jumbo transport/gunship helicopter(think flying super heavy) and some transport vehicles. So along those lines I'm going to try and fire up my 6mm vehicle project again.  They just sit on my bench staring at me. I hope to keep from doing any serious damage to my fingers, eyes and brain. such as they are.

Finished the first 3 Falchions off. For some reason, These guys weren't as enjoyable to paint as the other escorts. However, I can't put my finger on why this was the case.

Nice work, Dys, will see if I get the same response from my set of three.

Good work Dysartes.... :)

I've been working on the two TOFG cruisers, but as well as this I've completed Planescape: Torment at long last- what an epic game!
I've also been reading my newly aquired pile of old WDs, and am getting ready for a few days away when I should have a BFG game lined up, and a possible trade for some epic stuff!  :)

No painting done as I have had to work the weekend again. I hate year end when the auditors are here. :(
However I did get to organise all my Mechwarrior, Heroclix and Mageknight stuff.

I also tidied up my Epic IG and SM stuff. After a bit of a recent splurge on ebay it was time to take stock, put assembled figures into cases, put unassembled figures to one side, and resolve not to buy anything more from ebay.

Right where's my superglue??

Cheers

James

Did some sanding on the Cityfight piece. Why does these things allways end up making such a mess! Anyway: Almost half of it is done. Now I need tp get to the beach and pick up a bunch oof seashells for rubble.

Those FW Shdowswords are just begging for a paint job so if i find time tonight I'll probably paint those up.

Cheers! :)

Mostly finished 4 E40K ORK B/wagons, 2 stock and 2 used Imp./Chaos hulls. Also base coated 2 S/W AA tanks using old Rhino hulls. And made them GEVs by gluing half beads on the bottom !  :D

Hmm... two week of school break. Long time to have free.

For first, I played some Hentai game named "Nocturnal Illusions". Better then I expected, actually, and quite fun to play as well. Yes, it's 18-rated. So what?

Sorted some of the data I had laying around.

Listened to Hammerfall a lot with a mix of Thyrfing (Viking Metal - cross between Power Metal-like music and Death Metal-like lyrics) along the way. Therefore my batteries are fully charged by now.

Will buy the Iron Hands squad today... CSM squad will follow early next month, huzzah!

Viking metal.... is that like this?

I just finished my CWE fleet - 4 Shadow Hunters, 4 Wraithships and 2 Dragonships. Next up are some Epic kasrkin and FW vultures.

Viking metal is less rap and not that vulgar. Here is one prime example. And another one.

Catched up with my 10 day absence over Bolter&Chainsword. That's sure an active board!

As for the shopping... double score! Last time I asked about the price of IH squad, the store employee was misinformed and told me it was half more expensive then it really is. So, with the cash burning out a hole in my wallet, I bought the shiny, new plastic Commander boxed set as well.
