I just finished Galactic Patrol and was a bit disappointed in what I felt was an anti-climactic ending. It was good novel though... felt like pulps presented in a monthly chapter form.
I think I'm going to read Treason by Orson Scott Card next. I think that Treason is Card's best work, even better than Ender's Game. It's not a very well-known book, but the story is fabulous. I've read it many times over the years (probably in the excess of 10-20 times or more). The story would make a great movie.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

I also like Treason a lot. I don't agree that it's better than Ender's Game, but it is a lot of fun. You don't often get that much character development in a single book, eh?

I just finished reading Treason. What an outstanding book.
Orson Scott Card is really a deeply religious man, but in many of his later books, he learned to supress his religiosity and supplement it with spirituality (sells better), but Treason still has a level of spirituality that his later books don't match.
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
