Some in-game shots. Nids vs Death Rider-heavy DKoK was... interesting...

The big gribbly assembled, and planning out the basing:

Plus a trio of Barbed Hirodules, made from Termagant bodies while the Scythed Hirodules were made from Hormogaunt bodies.

And textured:

More in-game shots. Jake's Ordinatus Minoris shortly before getting snacked on, followed by Blip's Guard meeting the Big Bad.

Then it was back the lesser gribbly. Lots of Plasticine to break up the flatness of the base, plus several layers of Sandy Paste on top:

Then, over the last couple of evenings, massed undercoating, washing with Nuln Oil, and painting of bases:

;D

Next step, a sore shoulder and way too much white drybrushing...

Followed by six Biovores, a Trygon and three Rippers/Raveners.

Some more in-game shots, including a Guardian Warhost unknowingly advancing past the drop zone and getting appropriately punished...

And a couple of group shots of everything that's been assembled so far. Not bad for some random evenings across less than six months!

No, they’re just the standard old Rippers from 40k. Milliasaurs would be worth a fortune!

Time for some transports - Malefactor test ahoy! It's a bit big (40mm base) for something with the transport capacity of a Rhino, and doesn't give the impression of having extra Firefight attacks, but it does the job. Although I've had to start press-moulding legs as I don't have enough of those ones.

Plus some more bases painted.

Followed by way too much filing to prep two more formations of 'Stealers.

And I've finally prepped four Dropzone Commander flying things for use as Harpies/aircraft. You can also see some of the alternative leg tests for the Malefactors.

They look like a well armored beetle. Maybe you can sculpt some spore cyst thingies into them for the FF?

Some really great kitbashing here, shaping up nicely! I like the hierodule in particular. For some reason your work is making me misty eyed for the old Tyranid stuff :)
