Usually I'm not into historic stuff... but those tiny romans are stunningly beautiful!

The Romans look great SG. Did you find them easy to paint?

Oh yeah. There's under ten paints altogether; most of the figures only use five outside the bases. It's just base coat, wash, and a few highlights back to the base color.

Plus in ranks like this you get a rhythm going after a stand or two.

Most of this is old painting, but I’m making progress. A few stands of Fire Warriors and some of the Crisis Suits are new. At least they’re consistent, given the amount of time since I last worked on them.

Just checking in to say I haven’t lost steam yet. More Firewarriors, my first few AVs, another Barracuda, and the first stand of Stealth Suits. Of course there’s some basing to be done on some things. Waiting on some command rigs to finish the Crisis Teams, plus Tetra and Piranha stand-ins.

These really are a joy to paint.

You know, its gotten to the point that Deacon's OTC figs, to me, look more like Tau than actual Tau figs do.

Stealth suits: done.
Crisis suits: done.
Tetras: In progress.

Edit: why do some thumbnails turn upside down? That’s weird.

I don’t know. Not signed up now. Maybe I can make it to an event game? I kind of doubt I’ll participate in the tournament, though there’s a chance. I’ve nudged our little group back toward Epic somewhat, which increases that chance. Family matters make it... complicated. Autism, amirite?
