Would not have asked this, but over the weekend, and around the ten pint stage (3rd football game of the day) John Cole (famous for playing ferals and not being able to hold his drink) broke our chat about Ronaldo with a conversation on AA.
He advised that some of his opponents have claimed jinking isn't effected by macro. The case in point being some thunderbolts jinking to get a 4+ after getting shot at by a weirdboy (AA5+ macro).
I was sceptical. The rules set jinking replaces the normal save with a 4+ ,not an invulnerable 4+.
MW AA being then pretty horrible As it kills on a bit anything not reinforced.
(As an asside, does a jinking vampire, 5+ reinforced, - in jinking get a 4+ save if jinking a macro? I assume normal jinking makes it 4+ then 5+....)
Anyways, always happy to hear how others play it.
(Oh and I think I may play ferals soon, so here's your chance to need them... I favour the weirdboys being like commisars, and so unable to be the orkyosarus). :)

No jink against MW. You replace your normal save with a 4+. The same wording is used for cover saves, you don't get a cover save against MW either.

I'm guessing the "it's invulnerable" idea comes from 40k, where jinking was an invulnerable at some point.

Re: the Vampire, jink replaces the normal saves so it's either 5+ Reinforced OR a 4+ jink.

I'm curious to know how people play this as my Zoanthropes have a 30cm MW6+ AA also.

Same as cover again. Stealth Suits in Rubble get a 4+ followed by a 5+ for regular hits, a 5+ for MW, or a 4+ for Lance.

Vampire's a Bomber though, so no jinking.
