I'm loving these but I have plenty of gribblies already. I'm praying for some bigger bugs to fill out the army.

Oh yes. I think I'm hitting the Xenomites again after this next Grudd unit.

What don't you like about the design?

Nice work! I like the centaur-esque approach here. They definitely tie into the rest of line's asthetic clearly.

They might look a bit like they're smiling, but that was a secondary impression after I read the comments and went back and stared.

Could you make The poises more dynamic? With the lower claw blades out to attack?
What about a two part mold one for legs and one with the head and arms ?
Cheers

like the general look of your xenomites, and these too. will definately start an army of them when you get a little further.

but, I have a little bit of hard time seeing if these are supposed to be brutish, guarding charger aliens, or brainier warrior aliens, controlling their smaller brethren.

if the first, maybe fatten them up a bit and make them more hulking - like the middle one. the second, maybe thin them a bit, and give them a few bionic swords and guns.

but no matter what. really cool looking and will end up buying.

the comparing shot is really good to see

looking forward to see more of the line.

do you plan on doing the line up to titansize?

Thanks for the feedback all. I don't want to make them multi-part, but there are more buggies on the way - Gearing up for some tank-sized bugs soon which will certainly be multi-part with options.

The neck, mainly. Reminds me of a cartoon buzzard.

I do like the centauroid poise, the eyeless armoured head (reminds me of Tyrant Guards), and the arm weapons. Are the arms intended to be mix-and-match? Eg, all claws, or all guns? And would some sort of large-calibre (two-arm) gun be possible?

I may make another type with some different weapon options - but I will be staying away from explicit weaponry, as I intend to keep all weapons more "Integrated" into the design of the creatures...

Anyways - onwards and upwards - here's a WIP shot of the Cerebnid!

Thoughts?
