I like the camo scheme, looks like dazzle camo from the WWI.
Delighted it appeals. A homage to Naval Dazzle patterns and to more modern Arctic Dazzle.
My story for this force's camo scheme is that the troops are part of a Lunar Defence force.
The 19th Armoured Regiment in honour of the unit remembered at the local memorial park.
Decided the camo pattern officially called Regolith Dazzle Pattern, (RDP). The troops
(Solar Empire Marines and Exodus Wars) of course colloquially call it Really Deceptive Paint!
Sadly in the recent game it seemed that the paint covered up very substandard armour!
And thinking about it now, the concept behind the force probably makes a win VERY difficult.
Army is slow so almost impossible to get across the table to capture the Blitz.
Similarly lack of speed probably makes it impossible to win They Shall Not Pass.
The wide spacing of objectives in your half (response to a slow army) makes Defend The Flag challenging.
Got the tools for taking on a hard BTS but difficult to get if opponent hides the Break Their Spirit.
Ought to be straight forward to get to the two Take and Hold objectives but the opponent only has to
contest them to stop that victory condition.
Anyone have any suggestions? For a languishing Minervan/Heavy Tank commander.
Certainly I handled the Vultures poorly. Keep them out of artillery range and hunt light transport early.
Had one too many Heavy Companies and could have swapped them out for artillery, scouts and a SHT.
