I like it! The GW Gargants feel way to small usually. I use Great Gargants for Gargants and the Mega Gargant for a Great Gargant when we play.

It was more to get some idea about whether the company is reliable and you actually got hold of the miniatures in a reasonable time in the end! But great to know that it is a good miniature.

Thanks for the pics lylekelm, that does look brilliant. Fits in really well with the Mega Gargant. The fact that it doesn't cost £50-60 from ebay and doesn't need to go in paintstripper when bought is a bonus too! :)

Deb - have you tried using Slickpic as an alternative to Photobucket? It's free (I've used it to upload a fair amount of shots and have yet to reach a bandwidth limit) and has a fairly good folder system. Nice front end and dashboard as well, you can make your album overview page look pretty pleasing on the eye.

Thanks

I will check them out.

I may have to download a bit of my photos I have uploaded to photobucket, as I no longer have them on my PC.

Are they like Photobucket, and continually interrupt your photo uploads with ads and use massive amounts of tracking cookies, that allow others to interrupt you viewing online with unwanted ads?

As to the Gargant, it did not take that long for to to get to my place from Europe.

If something is free on the internet, you're the product.

Deb - compared to Photobucket, you honestly wouldn't know that you are using a free service.

Much, much less advertising and website loads quickly and cleanly (which to me is always a sign of lots of ad-tracking and other script running in the background).

I quite like this model, tempted to pick one up, I'd be interested to see their take on the next 2 sizes down.....

The main dude on FB (Pepe the frog icon an all ::) ) has explicitly mentioned a desire to make a "bigger one". I suspect that they view this as a true-scale Great Gargant. I do hope we see smaller versions and variations though.

They have good designs but of the two items I've got from them, the resin is a bit hit or miss, soft details in many places, slippage, etc. Better than FW way back when but IMHO, far below what I would call "professional". Still good cost for what you get.

At least for Orks a bit of slippage of casting can be disguised easily by the fact it's orks. Some soft detail can easily be painted up as some fire damage etc.

It won't be as acceptable though if he decides to cast Wraithlord Titans or equivalents!

Yeah for some reason they seem to think bigger is the way forward but it just gets ridiculous for 6mm.... They already said no to smaller titans so this may be the lot.... Hopefully Vanguard make some big skinnerz scrap titans soon :)

Hi!

I'm assuming this model is resin?

It looks nice, I am tempted, but not in resin.
