Thanks all! I'm fairly happy with how those bread clip jetbikes turned out. I'm working my way through the second formation at the moment.

But in the meantime, I've been working on some infantry. The rangers were low hanging fruit, as they were fairly straightforward to re-base and re-paint.
Image

I didn't quite have enough models for eight bases with three to a base, so I had to add in some of the old guardian-with-lasgun models that I have lying around.
Image
Three to a base is a bit tight, but it works ok for scouts.

So these won't be appearing in my Epic Armageddon Saim-Hann army any time soon, but will be able to go in a "Biel-Tann-like" Saim-Hann army. ;) No such problems if I use them in NetEpic of course.

Blog post is here for those who are interested.

Cheers!

Cheers Primarch.
I've still got plenty more to paint, which is good and bad!, but the army is getting there.

I have painted up a formation of guardians, including a few units to give them some backup.

Image
These are the old plastic space marine boxed set guardians, with a plastic farseer and banner bearer from the Epic Eldar Warhost plastic box.
Only four stands, plus a farseer, so I will add some more in the future. I still have plenty of guardian models ready to base and paint.

I also did some heavy weapons for them too.
Image
These have a couple of crew added to the base. One is a regular guardian, the other is a heavy weapon crewman (crewelf?) from the Warhost box.

And for a bit more killy-ness I did some support weapons too. These are from the Warhost box again.

And to help add some resilience to them all (plus some extremely destructive short ranged shooting) I did up three bases of plastic wraithguard. I still have another three of these in the painting queue.

So when I put all this together for epic armageddon formations I end up with:
Saim-Hann list guardians:

Biel-Tan list guardians:

So I'm looking forward to having some games with these.

Really striking scheme. Especially like the old school serpents! Nice work.
