The flyer at the back is indeed from the Spartan games Firestorm Planetfall range - its the Hurscal Transporter from the Terral Alliance Ground attack Helix. A useful set as the Hurscals could also be used as a large dreadnought or walker, and the two ground attack VTOLs would not take much to convert to stand in as Vultures or Valkyrie transports.

@ John - yes a bit armour heavy, but on the horizon is some more infantry formations to multi-task this force into a Heresy force. Of course I will have to do an opposing force (probably in red) to get some marine on marine Heresy games going.

@ Blip - I started on the first table by the entrance and gradually made my way towards the lower tables, but had fun with a more thematic than tailored marine list.

All looks really good. Those novan elites look very customisable, with all the turret options.

May I ask what the mat they are sitting on is, looks like some nice desert textures.

I thought it was, I was checking their Planetfall miniatures for possible proxies. This will make a good Landing craft/T'Hawk proxie for my Marines.
