Lovely. It is vital to keep battlefields visually appealing. Otherwise this is just randomized chess with lots of redundancy ;)

And some more figures for this army. Excuse the poor choice of background to photograph them on :D

Traitor Space Marines

These are painted in the colour of Thousand Sons. I will mostly concentrate on a Tzeentch chaos force as I ended up with a model of Magnus the Red. This was my fist batch of marines so I kept it simple and I was experimenting with base colours and washes. Then I painted on a Thousand Sons chapter marking on the shoulder pad.

Magnus the Red
I was given this figure by a friend and to be honest, I dont know what to make of it. It is an unusual figure and it looks like a reject from their fantasy range. The pose is bad and he looks like he is constipated. Anyway, since he is called Magnus the Red, I decided to paint him red rather than most pictures I have seen where he is a rainbow of colours. I painted the wings a purple through to blue shade since blue is Tzeentch colours. Although I'm not a fan of the figure it was quite good to paint and it came up better than expected. Since finishing this figure I've decided I dont like the base so I will rebase onto a 40mm base and add debris and Chaos cultists to the base.

Thanks for looking

Nice work on the marines, and great job on all the little icons on the shoulder pads, ;)

Here is the first 3 Epic markers I started a while back. I'm still catching up on all the Epic models I have finished recently. They are made from various bits and some Leven Miniatures supply bases.

I've been a bit slack posting these as life has been busy!

Blue team vs Yellow team. I've finished basing a large batch of figures for NetEpic. These are Chaos Cultists from Vanguard Miniatures and are beautiful figures. There are 80 figures so I split them into batches of 10, and each group has a different main colour and i have given one unit yellow highlights and the other blue. Nice and colourful results I think.
