Looks good Apoc. I know the feeling about wanting to just get things done. I've left a few things unfinished that I eventually came back and fixed up once I'd had a break. Too much of the same and you burn out, even with epic. :)

Cheers all, and thanks for the empathy Vaaish.

Turned out the lighting at the venue last night was pretty good (or at least, far far better than my painting space), so i took another picture of the assaults with some pals:

(base are bare as none of these are varnished yet)

Played against portal/webway heavy biel tan, while my list had 3 formations of podding devs with just a scout formation deploying on table. An odd and high casualty game, turn 1 saw 5 formations completely wiped out (including a BTS) and 3 more reduced to token strength.

Those Centurions are a thing of beauty. By far my favourite hack and slash build I've seen on here.

That converted and spruced up old Contemptor is a little beauty. <3

Mind blowingly beautiful as always!

Those centurions, OOP Forumware or home build?

Converted from the old plastic robot, with a plastic marine head-shoulder stuck on top. I did a step by step guide but im not sure where the thread went,

example:

rest of tutorial pics here: http://s340.photobucket.com/user/Apocol ... t=3&page=1

the las cannons for the other variant are from the front of FW leman russ tanks (I was converting a load anyway for another project).

Bloody heck, I was sure they must be some forumware thing I'd not seen before - they are amazing.

Right here:
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=30723

And I stand by my previous assertion that they're amazing, despite being Centurions.
