If I had a case of like buttons they'd be yours right now. The white camo dabs looks lovely and very nicely done. Is it just a plain white with a quickshade style ink over the top, then a touch of cleanup white?

I agree, looks great. Not so sure about the red on the barrels - draws the eye a bit too much imho. Can you either make it paler or more drab?

I like the red in that it draws the eye and helps to unify and differentiate the formation from others. The problem I see is that it's basically the same tone as the base. So say yellow or green formation color wouldn't have the same issues.

It's super basic:

Spray model white
Tape
Spray model blue/grey
Paint tracks, engine etc
Ink
Touchup of camo
Highlight

I was looking for something to break up the camo scheme. A drab yellow or green may be the way to go. Will try that on the next units

what paints are on the camo btw? I really like that blue grey

edit: Mard, I'd give the red a touch of yellow to bring the color tone up or instead a green wash to push her down. 2 minutes either way.

The blue grey is the Army Painter Wolf Grey spray, which is very similar to the GW russ grey

Ignore the bad lighting for now - but I'm getting pretty happy with how all the elements are coming together

I love them! I really like the red bars on the barrels, things like that really break up the model.

Work continues slowly

I still need to do some more highlights on the leviathan, and I have a heap of infantry I still need to paint and base up. But I'm starting to like how it's all coming together

A lot of work currently and waaaay to many armies on the go

That's a very neat painting mate.

The camo is excellent (though I find it a bit weird on the Capitol) and the "martian" bases are really highlighting your models.

Excellent stuff all around (just went through your subject)

Keep it up!
