I find it more telling that HLS can't be arsed to even bother to engage here and other fora to keep the community abreast of happenings and gather feedback in the minimalist of fashions. ::)

I was thinking more of this kind of slat armor:

But I agree -- it's worth spending the money to get a molding-quality master made.

This ^^ times like a million.

They dont even bother to answer their emails, or contact people on facebook.

I get that they run a shop and might not want to spend all day checking out different forums, but being that the took on a very niche product, you think that they would want to take on a ready-made customer base (Ie: the people here!)

Well guys I'm ordering 2 packs this week. And I'll let you know. I really don't see a problem from the pics. I've modeling longer than some of you have been alive. :o So as I always say do what works for you ... not me ...

But if I've made some of the SM2 models "better", or at least better looking ... So I'm sure I won't have a problem with these. ^-^

For example :

Like Armor on this BMP ... :o

If the striations are trying to represent an armour plate why are they on the wings as well? Its just really poor
Exodus wars and DRM have survived due to the goodwill of the 6mm community in forgiving lot of issues but they both have largely used up this goodwill IMO.

I don't really know why the model has striations. I was just making an educated guess. As far as EW & DRM surviving ... I got a lot of both of their stuff and never had a problem with it. The worse thing is some times the lack of being able to purchase what you want when you want. I get that. But I know both are working on getting things can in order. And become more efficient, with orders, etc., ...

And I take it many of you read the email In recently posted from Doug at DRM ...

So again do what works for you ... ^-^

Well if you really want a 6mm AFV with Slat armor then you always can go with GHQ's Stryker ... :o

Hi guys,

You are absolutely right that it has been not-good enough from me over the past few of months. Sorry for letting you down.

I am sorry that for some of you I have not got back to you by email or on facebook. I can only apologise for this, it is unacceptably bad on my part.

Tom and I are absolutely interested in your feedback and have taken it on board when it has been brought to our attention. For instance, in future all new stock items will be shipped in a grip seal bag within a blister.

If there suggestions which you feel have been ignored let me know so that we can consider them.

With respect to the Hoplon MKII suddenly appearing. This was to Tom's surprise as well. When I got all the stock I have working through the inventory and dusted them off and put them on the website not knowing they had never been released.

Comments on not being on here and other fora is well received. I will make it an active part of my week to be on here. I am, personally, reluctant to be too loud a voice because I hate pushy sales persons, but clearly I have gone too far the other way. (If you think there are places I should frequent let me know and I will troll them too once I the wifes permission that is ;))

Thanks and I hope you can accept my apologies.

Speak to you soon.

Dale

Don't worry, Dale! We wouldn't be so passionate about it if we weren't so interested in what you have for sale. Just speaking for myself, I totally understand that RealLife can get in the way of hobby time, and I hope you're able to be here more so that we can pester you with questions!
