Hmm, the robots have been bugging me out a bit. Which means they'll need a total redo. I want them to look a bit more mechanical, now they are just blocky, not that techy. More akin to this (Robot Maniples Alpha & Beta), with a weird touch of grimdark transformers/mecha - akin to Migsula's T.W.A.R. systems. But this is I guess part of a larger ambition of mine to create a complete robotic faction whose models could probably function as proxies for robots for the Cybershadows, robotic undead hordes, mech suits for those blue skinned aliens, etc. But yeah, this is all future talk...

In the meantime I've started working on something new, and apparently very much needed for the Novan Regulars, but more on that in the coming days/weeks...

Re: Robots, I'd love to see a more slender look as well, but much less humanoid. long legged, fleet and sleek. Gun and claw arm options with a shoulder/overslung cannon (rotary or single-barreled) would be neato. Anywhere between 10 and 20mm tall would be perfect. And, yeah, I have to add my neg-vote on the gunface, sorry!

And on the Centurion (great name!) - congrats. It looks lovely. :)

The robots are on hold for now, I really want to do something special for them, and I feel I'm not doing them the justice they deserve. I think that for now I'm going to stick with some more Novan stuff and ships. The Novan still need a recon/command/mortar hull variant of the IFV Warrior hull.

Another thing I'd like to do now that I have the Centurion hull is to make a variant that can mount artillery weapons, note that the Solar versions of the normal artillery use that hull as a basis, rather than the Warrior hull. Then I could mount an even heavier cannon on top, something akin to a bombard mortar...

In the meantime, I've been wanting to ship off my orbital mines to Vanguard, what do you guys think? Do these need any alterations or are they ready to go?

Continued working on the Firefly turret. Some people suggested I'd add some sort of targeting device. I've placed it on two spots, let me know which one would be best.

Hmm, from the feedback I've been gathering on Facebook it seems to be pretty 50/50 regarding the which turret variant I should go for.

@MoreDakka: it's your call now. ;)

In the meantime, I've also started working on another turret (and sponsons) variant for the Centurion kit:

I tweaked the siege turret a bit more, I think it's as good as ready:

Let me know what you think, but I think the variant is ready to be shipped off.

Consider it done, unless there's any feedback. :)

I think it feels a bit too stubby on the turret. Wider bore longer gun maybe?

So increase the size of the demolition cannon? (apologies for not fully understanding)

Slightly increased the size of the turret cannon, and shrunk the plasma cannons (sponson weapons) a tiny bit.
