Destructors advance and take out a Speeder.


Bikes march.


TBolts lay a BM on the Speeders.


The drop comes in, two bikes are lost and BMs are placed.


Grey Hunters engage the Devastators. 2-1 Marines.


The Devastators loose by one and break.


A THawk threads the overwatch needle and engages the Long Fangs.


The Long Fangs break for no losses.


TBolts take out another Speeder.


Whirlwinds sustain and take out two Marines.


Long Fangs take out all but one and the Dread, they break.


Scouts break the Speeders with a BM.


Speeders retain and double to screen the THawk. They lay a BM on the Blood Claws.


The Blood Claws attempt to engage, fail and have to move out of ZoC.


The SC advances on the Grey Hunters, laying a BM.


Grey Hunters double and put a point of damage on the THawk.


TBolts wipe out the Speeders.


Sky Claws march.

Predators advance on the Long Fangs, laying a BM.


Scouts retain and engage them.


2-2, the Long Fangs break.


Whirlwinds sustain on the Terminators and take one out.


Bikes engage them.


They break the Terminators who loose one.


The Tacticals advance and lay a BM on the Grey Hunters.


The SC engages them.


2-0, Marines.


The Wolf Priest makes it out alive but broken.


Skyclaws march.


Grey Hunters double and lay a BM on the Speeders.


They marshal, and lay a BM on the Grey Hunters.


The Blood Claws attempt to engage again, fail with re-roll and regroup.


The Bikes engage the Whirlwinds.


One goes down and they break them, barely.


THawk stands down.


TBolts hit the Whirlwinds, 3 go down after hack-downs.


TBolts straffe the Grey Hunters, laying a BM.


TBolts stand down.

The Marines fair poorly, destroyed to a man. Wolves loose one.


Grey Hunters take out two speeders.


Scouts engage the Whirlwind...


And loose! (Should have just shot and broke it...)


Predators double and break the Long Fang while grabbing a T&H and DTF.


The Whirlwind puts a BM on the Terminators.


The Blood Claws fail once again, with re-roll and regroup.


TBolts stand take out one of the Long Fang units.


Skyclaws clip the Speeders.


The Speeders are wiped out.


Terminators contest the Blitz and take out a Bike.


Grey Hunters grab Blitz and T&H, laying a BM on the Tacticals.


The Tacticals deny T&H.


A Thawk breaks the bikes.


TBolts take out the last Whirlwind.

No, just opinions. And even then, nothing I haven't said before.

• Grey Hunters are over costed at 300, I'd prefer them back at CC3+ for 275.
• I don't think the Hunting Pack restriction adds anything to the list, grouping them, Great Companies and Support Packs into a Space Wolf Formations seems easier.
• Pack Mentality isn't needed.
• The Long Fang weapon stat abstraction still bugs me.
• The FF reduction on the x-claw units seems unnecessary as well from a game play and fluff perspective.

Some of these were news to me

I kind of regret taking on the Space Wolves and promising not to change to much, just getting them approved. There are some stuff I do not know why they are written the way they are...

So lowering cost and buffing CC, huh? Looks like everyone thinks they are too bad in their current state.
Restrictions on the pack makes me take at least 2 formations of gray hunters, if we take away the restriction I wouldn't take any...
Agree on the Pack mentality, personally I would like to drop/change both special rules.
Agree on the Long Fangs and perhaps on the x-claws as well...

That's a reason to drop of the cost and/or increase the CC.

In any case, if you want an army to have 1+ or 2+ just put those numbers in front of the formations (like we do with 0-1). But, I still don't see the issue. The Codex list can field all Vindicators if you want, not fluffy at all but still possible in EA.

When you submit again, submit it with the revisions you want to consider. We'll approve/reject those independently of the list's approval at the same time like we've done before.

Cool report. One question - the yellow buildings. I see a lot of these in Epic batreps. Were they from an earlier version? Are they available in PDF format anywhere?
