Thanks guys. The gunnners is a good idea. Ill probably do that. Also ass the small tanks still need a few minor detail like squadron markings and such but I'm trying not to over do it to keep things simple.

Actually nothing. I bought the FW Vanquishers but really hated them because they looked too tall. So I tried to stick the turrets onto the metal Leman Russ chassis which I think looks much better leaving me with 3 useless resin tank bodies.
I saw Chubbybobs excellent Destroyer conversions and wanted to duplicate something like that. Then it was the simple matter of drilling a hole in the front of the tank, putting in a bit of heavy metal wire and building the rest of the barrel + the bit where it connects with the chassis in green stuff. Where the turret used to be I simply put a hatch from the E40k tank spures.
I am currently also painting up those vanquishers for my Desert IG force. Will post a few pics once finished.
BTW: Has anybody bought the FW Stormswords? Are they nice models? I was considering adding a company to the Krieg force since I think they look kindda fitting...

Not much work on the Imperial side... Got a bit of work done for the forces of Chaos though. Finished a Plague Tower before my first battle under the influence of old Father Nurgle... (kindda fitting since I've also managed to catch a mild cold  )
Also did my very first Tzeeentch unit: Magnus the Red: Primarch of the Thousand Sons (pics of those soon to follow.)
...And since I've gone completely overboard with photography for the past couple of days: Here's also some more/better shots of The Emperor of Mankind and his Warmaster Horus.
...Honestly: Next time WILL be an update on the IG. -I promise!

Magnus The Red ...I've never really liked this miniature... probablyy because of the original paint job from Eavy Metal: There was something about those tri-coloured wings that just made me go "Clown" or "Icecream" or something... Also the right arm allways seemed disproprotional to me.
Redid the arm slightly and painted the Primarch of The Thousand Sons more to my tastes.

Excellent work ! And yes, in the mid-90's, if you look at the SM2/TL pics ... they are literally a riot of color !!! 
However, many do come around and see the light !!!
