In the next two days you'll get emails with food choices, in the next few days I'll post the scenery "default" rules. Basically as this is part of Epic UK tournament scene and not a club/scenario day, I can't be too creative with scenery rules.

No nasty special rules for lava or fields of cracked ice for example...Wait until Wed/Thur for full list.

And i thought I can sacrifice a unit on top of the volcano to summon some warp demon to slay my enemies?! :(
Even painted up a big-boobed Eldar maiden to be pushed over the edge...

Damn you EUK Championship *angry fist shaking :gah

* ;D ;D ;D

**Really looking forward to see the Skitari in action!

Painting is getting there, should be ok for sat. I'd be interested in a tournament with, ummm less restrictive scenery rules at some point. That way it can be semi competitive while offering something new. I'm aware it would possibly have to be none epic uk to keep things fair for the championship, but the winter warmer was always popular and that wasn't part of the main calandar. Im actually looking forward to tables with more scenery (even if the army Im taking really isn't suited to lots of scenery), makes a nice change from the fights over 1 tree forest ;)

The Siege of Exeter in December will have plenty of custom terrain rules, but it'll also be a set of scenario-driven games rather than a tournament...

That sounds pretty good, however minion number 2 is due around then, so doubt that she who must be obeyed will be best impressed if I disapear off at 6am on a sat :)

How's everyone's prep going?

The last few eves have seen no less than 585 Orky rivets painted in the name of tourney-deadline preparation at this end...

Duncan, couldn't send you food choices as don't have an email address for you. Could you either send me a pm with your email address or could someone else forward the choices to Mr Skitarii please

Forwarded email to duncan. He's coming down with me anyway, so I'll drop you a mail with both out choices.

Prep is going well, now just waiting for basing to dry so I can paint the bases

Great, thanks Jon. Good re prep. Looking forward to seeing your army on the day. P.s no worries about what you were saying earlier about 1 tree representing a wood etc.. you won't find dull scenery here :)

Talking of scenery..and with me not revealing the last two tables..there is a confession here...ehhhh..I just couldn't get round to theming up the last two tables due to being bogged down with work etc. Sooooo..this year there is a Guest table from Exeter Inquisition Club and possibly another club..just waiting for confirmation on this.

Bit of a cop out yes... :-[ but one person cannot change the world...Help where help is needed is always welcome :)

In theory I'm done for painting already, but got in a second practice game this evening against RichardD - where his Biel Tan repeated their performance last week and managed to wage a war of attrition against my Death Guard, winning on (a lot of) victory points..
