I am looking forward to seeing a round "silly", and wonder how they compare with other "silly" units and formations

And joining a theme, my Squat Steel Legion (Squeel Legion?) list is in. As driven by which models make good proxies it's definitely on the aesthetics over effectiveness side of the fence! Plus, like everyone else - no play testing.

Just got mine submitted as well, going for an unusual Marine list - no SC, no Warhounds, and an odd BTS!

Don't think it's going to be that spectacular, but wanted to try something different for once

And playtesting? playtesting is for wimps

Have been super struggling due to inexperience with the army (1 game so far, 2 more before the tournament, hehe) but having read all the latest comments i convinced myself that i just play it cool and bring what looks ace and packs a punch.
Can't wait for three rounds of wins/losses/draws! Yay!

While we're bragging about how little we've played - well I've be playing/proxying as many armies as possible to give the guys a rounded taste of the game before next sat so I've only had 1 game with my list since Bath - and maybe 4 before that. So there ! ;-p

However, I think my list is pretty "competitive" - shame about the player :-)

No really…I was just a bit too relaxed this year, thinking ah..no worries, scenery - check, razor wire -check, trenches - check…@@@@ have 8 more players than last year….AAAAAH.



Way to go Mr Gonzo, thats the spirit. As you know from last year, the more relaxed approach to this event will hopefully discourage the more "gamey" tournament player and encourage more fun lists/games (as games should always be anyway).

Nonsense..if anybody's seen me play a game of Epic, they know that I just shove all my models forward, talk for quite a bit (and then some) take my eye off the ball (for quite a while, whilst talking and then realise that the main priority is to be playing a game of Epic and not just at a social gathering

In the next two days you'll get emails with food choices, in the next few days I'll post the scenery "default" rules. Basically as this is part of Epic UK tournament scene and not a club/scenario day, I can't be too creative with scenery rules. Doing so will slow down play and also just be downright annoying for a tournament. Therefore, I'll post a list of the default/standard scenery rules for the day (I'll also print this off for handouts on the day).

Its up to yourself and your opponent on the day to decide whats what on the table (scenery wise) and what cover saves etc you decide on. If you can't decide then use the "default" scenery rules that I will provide. Easy..

No nasty special rules for lava or fields of cracked ice for example...Wait until Wed/Thur for full list.
