A lot has happened since the last post. Mainly I have painted up a lot of stuff for a local tournamnet at Lincon in Sweden that was arranged this weekend by Mordroten. I played with the original list but “handicapped” myself by only taking 2800 pts and two instead of three infantry companies. I won the tournament, but it was fun and exciting. The revision is necessary though and I have posted my thoughts on that in the develompment thread.
viewtopic.php?f=74&t=29390&p=562918#p562918Anyway about the modeling. In the end i moulded the "bases" fot the AA-guns with green stuff and as so often it is easier than one thinks. I started by building a "master" from a 28mm WHFB shield nad some "Axis and Allies" pieces.
Then I put some food oil on it and pressed it into greenstuff to create the mould itself.
After letting it dry for 24 hours I simly applied green stuff directly to the bit of plasticcard that I was going to use as a base and pressed it into the mould.
Result! After cleaning of the excess green stuff it was good enough for me.
Here are the uits I speed painted for the tournament. There is a alot left to do like unit marings and crew but at least they are kind of mostly done. :-)
