Hi all,

I haven't had much time to paint lately, but getting my hands on some VERY nice fan-made models inspired me to make some progress.

The Contemptor Quartet

Minor conversion because twin powerfists are just cool

Superior firepower

Some added mobility for the Assault Marines

I had lots of fun with the Casevac base ;D

They're superb Death Guard. Really sharp lines on those must make them really pop on a tabletop.

Nice job on the contemptors. I do like the Thunderhawk, but I'll never understand the decision to raise the spine battlecannon like it is on the GW version. One of these days I'm going to redo my own, clip that cannon off and reposition it so it's parallel to the rest of the hull.

They probably did it for a more aggressive (masculine? ;) ) look, but I agree it looks rather ridiculous. Good idea to reposition it - I 'll give it a try if I ever do another T-hawk. The blacklining on this one was... sanity-shattering.
