I like the infantry a lot but will wait how the tank progresses before commenting it

I love the Jedi Masters. The grav-tank not as much. I think the overall impression is a mixture of flying saucer and hovercraft, mostly due to the very circular front. The design is elegant, but the shape suggests heaviness and a bit of clumsiness as well. I think it would benefit from a sleeking process.

I guess what I am trying to say is that I feel that the shape and design is not a perfect match yet. But as always, I know you will get there

regarding the tank, it resembles closely something from Star Wars (I cannot identify the exact vehicle though, either something belonging to the droid army or the rebel alliance). You may need to redesign as you do not want to get into trouble with one Evil Empire only to get into hot soup by another Evil Empire.

Hmm ... There's no chance of getting into trouble with a design that resembles something somehow.

Yes. This. Too much energy being wasted on that kind of overly zealous self censorship. If you don't copy literally, then you have no problem. The big ones steal every bit as much as anyone else.

you know it does rather look like luke's land speeder and the armoured speeder used on naboo against the trade federation at the palace just a wee bit.

I think perhaps making the front a bit more pointed and perhaps breaking the "repulsor fins" into 2 separate bits on the back might look better. Basically a more pointed fin spanning the chassis on the front and two larger ones on the side with some negative space between the front and the sides, if that makes sense.

Back to the alien tank, i think the base shape (rectangle) is wrong, just looks like a hover craft. I think you should try a triangle base shape. This is just cooler and more alien. Cars lorries and ships on earth are just rectangles.
