I had been thinking about painting a dwarf army for some time and decided to finally take a stab. I wanted to go with a basing style that was more subterranean and decided to add no foliage. The bases have painted on green areas that are supposed to resemble moss.

The first units up are two formations of dwarf iron clads.

great work on those! the MWG dwarfs are probably my favourite range, love the subterranean style basing too, excited to see some more!

I like the classic dwarf colour scheme of blue and silver very much!

Will the underground theme show itself in anything else beside the bases? :)

I will be doing themed scenery of mushroom trees that i had sculpted in a previous thread already. I don't have any cast up at the momment, but i will be casting some very soon. I may add some to some bases here and their just to add some extra flavor.
