I have re-weighed the package on some kitchen scales - it is ~1.00 kg, not 10.01kg. :-[ :-[
So I need to recheck postages. The cost from the UK Post Office is correct, but the other internet ones are wrong and will be cheaper.

However, that said it seems that most people are looking to add more stuff than they are proposing to remove, so I think my suggested process is still valid, the question is if and when we need to change.

In keeping with Gingers suggestions, for lower post - bertnernie > atension > L4 > Doom Kit > TheDean - we all are Canucks or Yanks, Yes ? ... Ginger, Maybe work it out with bertnernie and send all those bitz , we in North America have dibs on or may want to him ? Then bertnernie could send it to > atension, then atension to > L4 > etc. ... ? Adding bitz along the way ... And if no one on this side of the Atlantic after theDean takes his bitz, does not want anything ... then it can be sent back to you Euros ... Just a suggestion ... because as noted post for a BIG box from Europe to the US/Canada is pretty expensive ... So I'll leave it up to what the Waldo Group/Cabal/Gang thinks/wants to do ... :whistle 8) My list based on bertnernie & atension final decisions ... [ I'll take the Novan Cdrs and Skinners sprues if you guys don't want'm ?!] : The 6 formerly Unk/ Darkest Star Grav AFV hulls, the 2 snipers on the sprue ... Heck, I'll even take the 3 EW Dino Cav, Ginger does not want ! 8) ;D

Actually, I wasn't looking at any Ordinatus pieces. But I'd sure love to see them "in the flesh"!
Mostly I was thinking of the predators, the thunderhawk (non-brick) and just generally prodding through all the very cool stuff.

OK, so this seems like it will be cheaper. Now, since it isn't 10kg, I'm sure it won't be as problematic to afford.

The only change I notice this way is that it won't exactly be first come first serve. It will be first 'dibs' first served.

I don't know if that really matters to anyone. I'm happy enough either way.

I had a couple of questions before I get the package though:

Q 1- I noticed there is some 40k stuff in already. If we're adding stuff from other scales what is appropriate? This is especially relevant considering how large the package became. I don't want to add stuff no one wants, but I do think I have some 40k/warhammer stuff that could be great for 6mm vehicle conversions.

Q 2 - How do I count things I'm adding and taking? Should I base what I take on a literal 1-1 scale per model, or if I want to take something rare should I add something bigger or just as rare? I've only done 2 6mm trades so far, so I'm not really conversant on what is appropriate here.

Ok, I have updated the list with the latest wants etc.

Kyuss and Doomkitten each want one knight though it is not clear who wants which. Please could you identify your preferences from the images below.
Equally it is not clear who wants the bulk of the Guild Centuria figures (possibly Yorkie, Fredmans or even you Bertnernie?). The bulk of these figures are the three figures on the right of L4's post (There are 4x HW figures on the far left, which I believe are those wanted by Atension / L4 want)

If everyone agrees, I can split out separate packages for the following people, sending the rest on to Bertnernie. I will re-check the postage both as the entire package and without the various items already requested.

- US based (Atension / L4 etc)
- Blindhorizon
- Doomkitten
- Kyussinchains
- Tiny Tim (at Britcon)

Are there any more requests?

Also, as all my stuff seems to have found a home, I will see if I can find anything else that others might want.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
As to Bertnernie's questions, the parcel already contains BFG stuff as well as 40k bits and conversions often mix scales in this manner. However I do think people need to use restraint, otherwise we could very easily find the package getting too heavy.

That said, this is a very new idea to most / all of us, and is evolving as Waldo travels. I don't think there is any hard and fast rule over taking or adding bits, other than to use common sense. As others have already suggested, this is not a dumping ground, but rather a place for exchanging odds and ends that others can use.

If it's not too awful to say, I rather liked the idea of the box going from point to point without being split up. I was looking forward to going through and just seeing all sorts of new minis even if I wasn't actually going to take/use any of them. Minis are fascinating, so I'd personally prefer to receive and send the whole thing, partly to because of the prospect of new, fun items being added to the box as it passes through other hands.

If this does cause an issue with other people then I don't utterly object to things being split and parceled out, but I do have a preference contrary to that (and the people either side of me in the chain are in the US anyway).

@Ginger - of the four pictures, the one I'd be most interested in would probably be the fourth one. I really would like to nab one of the two in the first, too, but don't have an immediate use for it, so I should pass.

@Doomkitten.
I think part of the reason we were thinking of splitting packaging is when Ginger and I saw the cost of postage to go out of UK. Since there was a miscalculation, this isn't so much of an issue any more and it seems more affordable now.
I like the idea of rummaging through things too. I'm really on the fence on this one, and am happy for others to decide what works.

One big advantages(and disadvantage) of just sending in one big package is that whoever is next in line kids of gets a bit of a surprise as they go through the box, picking and choosing what they wish. This gives a first come first served preference based on postage. The alternative is first come first dibs in this thread.

Neither method is really quite fair, so I guess it comes down to which one people are more willing to accept (unless there is an alternative).

As to what I want:
Yep, I was hoping for the Royal Empire guys.

If the Guild Centuira heavy weapons are 3x5 weapons platforms then I'll have to withdraw my request for them, since I just bought them recently :-[
If they are infantry I'm still interested.

So I'd love any of the guys from this page that L4 posted: http://www.steelcrowngames.com/products ... e-centuria

L4 We seem to have extremely similar tastes in minis ;D

I can't see anything else that's been mentioned that hasn't been called for already.

EDIT: If no one is going for the cav when it passes by I might nab it. Maybe.

To all the Waldo Project and now Waldo II guys. As far as Post, that was my intial thought as there being "a rub", as I mentioned on pg.2 of this thread. I'm probably much older than most of you all here ... and we all like surprises at Christmas, Chanukka, B-days, etc., so I'm probably a little more" jaded" and in turn practical (?) when it comes to many in things in life. So if I had to pay more for just postage then what it would cost buying direct from a manufacturer, it wouldn't seem like much of good deal ... So Of course there are some things in Waldo you may not be able to get any where else :o ... Regardless ... That being said, I'm still in for my dibs !!! In "Waldo 2.0, Coming to America" ! ;D ;) And will PayPal post to whoever as required ! 8) 8) 8)

Hi,

I would suggest keeping the package together, I would have thought it would be cheaper than sending out little packages all over the planet, also as doomkitten said, it would be cool to just have a bit of a rummage!

How about we bag up the stuff that people have dibs on and put a label in its little bag with the name of the person who wants them? That way there is no confusion and potential for people to be disappointed?

Did you guys put a little book in there with it, so we can all sign it with our location, it would be cool to see where this package has ended up?

Anyway im easy, whatever way works is cool with me.

Steve
