That's a shame - I've got some of his more recent stuff but I didn't know that this model had ever existed...

Some new Catachans for my project. These fill the missing gaps for the Sky Raiders lists, leaving only the Veterans open. I could theoretically even play Krieg, Baran or other "Heavy Stubber" lists now. I currently sculpted/scratched the following teams: Heavy Bolter, Mortar, Rocket Launcher and Autocannon. This should do, especially since I plan to add Snipers to the fray.

I also painted some terrain:

Here are some pictures of the 3D printed miniatures. I think these fit in nicely. Also: a new brood genestealers.

Coming up: Even more terrain!

Oh and some objectives and Carnifexes.

I managed a blood effect like that in the past, but it wiped away over time (used a red ink). What did you do? The terrain looks fantastic, and I really wish I could reproduce that kind of blood stain effect.

The blood stain is just Tamiya Clear Red X-27 paint. See this tutorial for futher information: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topi ... -tutorial/
I used plain x-27 only :)

I painted some more Nids. This finishes my Gaunts. With 30 bases each and a handful of Warriors I should be able to field enough for every occasion and any list variant ever.

This leaves only a handful of stuff to paint, finally! Fully painted I could field up to 4485 points, if I use small swarms only (NetEA, Hive Fleet Onachus). Next update should be around Friday :)

Wow! This thread somehow slipped under my radar. Fanastic terrain and a good matchup between jungle forces. Keep it up!

That building, is it the Forgeworld air field accessory one?

Thank you all for the kind words! The Legion miniatures are great to paint. The ain't fragile, have the right amount of details and are easy to clean.

I have already painted a new batch of stuff. I also finished the bases on the miniatures last time shown.
