Hey i've come across a ticket for salute in april. Is anyone else planning on going and what sort of presence do GW Fanatic and Forgeworld usually maintain?

I will certainly be there - I've had my quebuster for a while now  :D

It would be great to meet up with any other forum members at the show as we did last year.

Forgeworld normally have a good presence at the show with a great deal of their stuff on display and available to buy on site.

As for Fanatics presence - I dont know what their plans are this year. I have heard that there is a table set aside for epic which can only be good news. I may also be delivering some of the new eldar pieces to them on the day so they may end up in a cabinet if I can persuade them, but no promises

Excellent!

I look foward to seeing people there as I've never met anyone from the Epic boards in person.

Quick question - When and where is Saute 2004, and how much are tickets?

Meeting people off the boards is lots of fun, and it's nice to put faces to the names. I met Tom, stormseer, Doug and Tuffskull at Games Day 2003, and thought it was an excelent day, even though Tuff didn't fully know who I was until about half way through the day! (A bit of an identity crisis was going on...)

Cheers

Chris

Its sat the 24th of April, at London Olympia 2.

www.salute.co.uk has more info

& I've said it a million times - sorry for not realising you were _the_ Chris - I thought you were one of Tom's Cronies... :blues: I'll know this time & Look out for you!

Last year we aranged to meet at 2pm in the entrance area & it worked quite well. Gives everyone time to do what they want & splash the cash before meeting up, talking Epic & showing off models (in my case at least... I usually have a case or two to deliver to & / or show customers  :D)

Afraid so - Darkone's (as in Incoming!'s editor in chief) alias is also Doug. Or is that the other way around.....  :l

My cronies are normally either blond and very female, or male and with hair spikier than a porcupine who baths in brill cream. }:)

Excellent, the now annual Salute thread!

Myself and Gaunts Ghost will both be there, and we are happy to meet up with everyone who will attend. I dont know how long we will be around though.

I will organise an exchange of pictures or gallery so that we can all recognise each other this time around.

Sounds cool.
although, Assuming you're still 6ft+ with red hair, I'm a short git weighed down with mini cases & Tom's... well.... just Tom & as recogniseable as ever - we shouldn't have too many problems being spotted in the entrance area!  :p  :D

Ahh yes. Frightening the old ladies. I am still the same, with even more weight. Although we could never be as scary as Lara Croft last year. *shudder*

Oh dear...

Where do I get tickets?

You can pay on the door. If you want to avoid the waiting in line, you canbuy tickets in advance from the site mentioned previously.
