So it's been a long time coming, but I've finally finished up the last of my Inner Sphere lances. The goal was to have 4 IS lances of equal BV so I could mix and match and not have to worry about points. The second part of that was to figure out four DIFFERENT units that could plausibly fight the clans as well as each other or be allied.

What I ended up with is Wolf's Dragoons Epsilon Regiment, Eridani Light Horse 151'st, Ryuken-Roku, and last of all 1st Regulan Hussars. At some point I'll put together a shot of all the lances together, but for now here's the Hussars:

Wonderul mechs Vaaish very nicely painted and posed. Always liked the marauder although i never thought the model did the design justice.

I have a large collection of mechs myself with the initial clan invasion period a favourite era for me.

Thanks guys. Yeah the Marauder sculpt is pretty poor. I had to do some significant adjustments to the arms and completely repose the legs to make them look acceptable. Actually, most of the Battletech sculpts are wretched. Either they have wonky scale issues or they have too thin of panel lines to really even get a brush in, or they have poor poses, or they aren't balanced. Thankfully the clan mechs are better.

These guys aren't up on CMON, there's really no point. Even the best painted mechs barely crack 8's

Must agree with you on the mech range having very varied quality of sculpts but then no one else did mechs so you had no choice in an alternative range. I have my favourite inner sphere designs but the early clan stuff was what got me interested in the battletech universe. Although even here i had issues with the relevant scales of the light and medium designs which seemed to be the wrong way round in relation to each other.

The Madcat (Timberwolf) being my all time favourite mech.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. After taking care of some things that needed done earlier I pulled everything out and put together a shot of all the lances together. Not the best shot and forgive the phtoshop sky I threw in, but now you can see all 4 IS lances together.
