Thanks kidterminal. The 2nd playtest of After the Cataclysm has proved it works and feels rather good I'm glad to see. The magic system and dark shadow was in play and the human wizard blasted himself apart after loosing a wizards duel with a foul Necromancer. I've also managed to lose twice in a row at the game I designed.........

At least you know its balanced more than can be said for some commercial rules sets.

Heh sadly enough not yet Undead have won both games. Its fun and playable but balanced not quite equally that's why you play test games any way perfection is never achieved with the first draft. Equally so long as it feels good and fun I'm not hugely bothered by balance yet it's a goal and the roads fun.

I've got a Bat Swarm done these are the 10mm Pendraken bats which look bigger than man sized in 6mm.

I've also read in the Microworld games sub forum that fleshy Undead are planned for June. This is great news.

As a nasty scary cloud of giant bats if a bit flat. They do look fairly gargantuan but for an evil monster that's fine.

Got the other Bat Swarm forgot to take a scale shot again ah well.

For scale reference for now they are on the same base size as the Infantry. They are probably pushing too big if I'm honest but hey they were in the pack with the other stuff so meh.

Well I've ended the Undead winning streak by commanding them. The lack of serious deployment mistakes and the human wizard not exploding made the Undead far more powerful equally a few unlucky courage tests and they could have easily done far more damage. The human mage's death magic was far more powerful and the ability to enter many wizard's duels meant far less magic occurred.

Djinn. These are based on Mantic Ghoul torsos with Wargames Factory heads. The lower half is made with glue gun glue a technique I nicked from a bloke called Meade from Dakka Dakka.

These Colossi are the Elementals of Order

Basically Medeiavel foot knights painted as giant stone statues.

I've also got this witch from Irregulars 19th century Civilians done.

These are the 10mm Pendraken Giant Undead and will work nicely for Undead Abominations (various giant style Undead critters) as you can see they loom nicely over the 6mm basic troops. The regular 10mm Undead is earmarked for Undead Horrors who are Ogre equivalents. I've also got some of my Irregular Undead done.

Btw, are those Giant Skeletons all from the pack 'with swords'/FU7?

Really like the look of the Colossi! :)
What will you be working on next?

Btw, guess those Giant Skeletons on the right are both from the pack 'with swords'/FU7?!
Which pack are the other two from (left and middle left)?

Really like the look of the Colossi! :)
