So it has. I was half afraid that it would show up there. It's good to make it there but also scary since I wasn't looking forward to the drop. Hopefully it can hold above a nine until the page gets refreshed.

So I actually get something done the first month of the new year! Up this time are two detachments of Epic Marine Bikes. I'm slowly converting my force from air assault to ground since it's a bit more fun to play that way. This is the first step to give an alternative to Speeders.

Thanks, but I have to say (and I really mean it) that they could stand a bit more contrast on the curves that form the front shell. I used Vallejo Flat Yellow as a base this time instead of GW Sunburst Yellow. Can't say I'm that impressed. It's got this lovely creamy golden yellow color when it dries thick and inside the pot but it smells like dish detergent and went on much thinner and far more shiny than the GW and looked more green. It also didn't interact as well with the Sepia wash to tone it. Gonna try again with a touch of red with it for hte undercoat on some rhinos.

It does. That's one of the reasons I picked Imperial Fists for my epic marines. I try to pick colors for my armies to make it easy to figure out which models are which from a distance.

Thanks! I may have to see if I can find the Gold Yellow pot. The Flat Yellow looked pretty golden on the outside and I don't remember seeing Gold Yellow at the store. :)

Nice bikers. Always preferred the look of the 2nd edition plastic bikes over the newer ones.

First off..just stunning work. The kind of piece that makes one want to pick up a paintbrush again. Secondly is this a conversion and if so do you have a guide?

(reply to the awesome Reaver Titan.)

Thanks, The reaver wasn't made by me so I don't really have a guide for converting one. I'd wager it would be easier to start from scratch on it though :)
