Great job - I do this as well, the way they come off the sprue they almost seem designed for it :D

Nicely done. The only critique I would have is they need some scatter on the bases to reduce the bright green.

Thanks shelfunit, glad to see I'm not the only person that does this!

Cheers Dobbsy! I know I should do it, but I'm staying strictly old-school for now! Maybe once I've finished painting EVERYTHING I'll have a think about doing something about the bases. Let's just say that won't be happening any time soon though.

And cheers also psypher, nice to know my little project has inspired you to give the Orks a go!

Right, must get on with my Goffs now that I'm back from holiday!

Its like looking through a time portal to my youth of terracotta painted blood angels and bright green bases!! I love it :)

White Dwarf 142 - my down fall. Rows and rows of blood angels. 20 years later i finally have a painted SM army slightly larger... (and not red)

You know Bissler, seeing all painted like that makes me wonder about reconsidering redoing mine.

Perhaps the old style "colorful" schemes have their charm too!
