Once I get these Athena Squads done, I'm moving onto the Stygians.

Really loving the Athena heavy weapons!

The one to the right might be a little better if the left arm was a little further back, to make it more like she's seeing a threat to her left and reacting to it? #4 from the left is a little passive. Wild idea: You could have her in the process of reloading her weapon?

Not a fan of the squad with halberd-faust, but really love these.

I find the missile launcher a little boring - do you guys like this one better?

Yep. How about angling it upwards? I don't think you'd want to fire a missile launcher at the ground 5 metres in front of you..

@Athena Defendors: I don't like thise spearfausts. Way to top heavy. Give them halberts instead.
@Athena Destrpyers: Cool! Perhabs angle the launchers from theleader to the same slope as the shoulderguards?

Like the second missile option. Looks sick. Can you mount something like that on a bike as a heavy support option? That'd look cool.

Thats a good idea!

They aren't angled down - just straight. She's striding forward, so in the current pose, they are pointing slightly downward - I can play with the pose a bit.

I rather like the spears - but if the public doesn't dig them, I can change 'em.

Interesting suggestion about the launchers, but not sure I dig them - makes them look like they are attached to the shoulder guards:

I'd assume they'd be gyro-stabilized, and would always point to the horizon/target.

You know, if you need a reason for it. :P

I'd also give her a helmet but I'm practical.

What about a power glaive instead of a spear? Something integral to the arm mount (like the riveters) and not something they have to hold?

Yeah I'd like to see a heavy weapon side-car version myself. Surely Grandma Wendy cannot claim to own side-cars as IP, right ? :D

just to prove prior art=>

Personally, I prefer the original missile launcher (the rectangle). It is more boring, but that only draws the eye to the trooper herself, which is very visually interesting. Something about the second version doesn't rub me the right way.
