I use these as my Land Transporters (with a weapon swap) in one of my Lost and Damned armies, there are a few variants on the site too to give a slight mix of chassis.
Strykers IFV:-

They are slightly smaller (thinner really) than Epic40K chimeras, more on par with FW chimeras but I don't think they look out of place.

I would prefer to use these models (look chunkier to me) if I could afford to do another Lost and Damned army.

GHQ models generally are a bit small next to Epic ... save for some of the bigger AFVs like the Maus or E-100, etc. ... However, sometimes the smaller size could work depending on what you may be using them for. Of course, Exodus Wars and DRM ranges are right in scale with Epic, and they have a number of options for Land Transporters ... like the Hoplon, Gaia, Ramjack, etc.

I am using various miniatures from MechWarrior (collectable) for transports and warmachines. Have a look at my blog to see which miniatures I'm using.

I started looking for alternatives when buying Chimera's for the Imperial Guard became too expensive :)

I bought some of their russian tanks for my early war 15mm WWII PBI army. Quite nice and good value. However, the plastic was of the "fat" kind. Still malleable enough I thought. What are you going to do with it?

Dunno if this is the right place for this question, but...

Eldar War Walkers: I always thought I had some of these but I just realised that I've got Sentinels. Would these be an acceptable proxy for War Walkers? Are they of a similar size?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Cheers!

Yes, the the War Walker came in a few sizes, they have been re-released about 3-4 times since SM1. I'd think the Mk.1 Sentinel with the IG driver's head replaced. And play with the weapons configuration ... could work ... There was a version of the War Walker that was "egg" shaped like the Mk.1 Sentinel ... I don't think the other Sentinel Mk.'s would work ...

Hi Guys,

I am new to the hobby. I would like to do a Baran Siegemasters army and would like a substitute for the Ragnarok tanks (it is no longer available in GW websites except in Australia where prices are crazy). I am thinking of using Pendraken or Magister Militum 10mm KV-2 as proxies.

Can someone post a size comparison picture, if possible, of a pendraken 10mm KV2, a magister militum KV2, a GW 6mm Ragnarok tank and a GW leman russ as reference. Thank you very much.
