Those are magnificent tracks! Don´t hide them or the design will look neatified and humanesque. If you want something to break the sharp break btw the flat surface of the hull and the super detailed tracks, try protruding hullbits and open balconies for the alien passengers to shoot wildly and shout annoyingly from.

Also, again, I find it not so great a match btw feral aliens and symmetric centerline designs. I realize that we could break up that with conversion-work, but I think that the base design could be assymetrical none the less. Looking forward to this one!

I like the shoulders =]. They break up the vehicle's flat flanks.

Too late, I took them out back and shot them.

Wait, i'm a bit slow, the different color for the guns means plug-in bitz right with apparently the de-facto standard size of a 6mm infantry dude ? So we could have a full sprue or two of guns, accessories and other gubbins and stuff to plug ?

Like a crane, a robotic arm, an AA gun, aforementioned searchlights, siren horns, closed and open hatches, tank commanders, service hatch with protruding legs of a busy mechanic ?

Would be great !

I do still agree with Nitpick about symmetry. Having one of the front gubbin slot (tm) slightly offset back and/or raised would do wonder to that end; maybe have the vertical bar splitting the windshield not in the middle ? The offset door on the rear part is great !

Actu-lol.

I'm with Athmospheric on the guns, though – are those temporary for the mock-up, or permanent?

+++Edit+++
Ninjad by Athmos there. A sprue of plug-in guns/turrets/periscopes/commanders with ded snazzy tellascopes/mad waving pasengers sounds awesome.

Yep.

Currently I've just popped in three of the plastic vehicle cannons, but my plan was to supply it with some different gun types & hatches. Just wanted to demonstrate that you could also use the plastic cannons.

This is a good thing and an idea that you should not gun down. I suppose the flat sides are just placeholders anyway. Just don't use shoulders ;D

The modular bits are a great idea!

*Hrrrnk*

Cooooool. To appease the shoulder-lovers, could you do a combined armoured front piece that runs across the whole front and shoulders, and plugs into the front two holes?

I really like the latest render on this vehicle i think it just needs the hull sides detailed. I'll have a dozen please. :)

You could always design different hull tops to modify the look or function at a later date alongside other add on parts sets to customise them. This looks like the start of a really cool alien vehicle range.

More please.

Maybe even just weld/plate seams to make it a little more hodgepodge would work?

I think I got mixed up... despite the ultra-detailed tracks, I thought I was in a plastic thread so I figured it would be impossible to add detail to the sides. In that case, the shoulders would be more important (but I wouldn't want them much larger). If there's detail (windows?) then I'm sure it'll look fine without shoulders.

I like 'em. I cant help but feel some sort of tracking device would be nice, but there doesn't seem to be a good spot. Twin cannon on one side and tracker on the other would allow it, but would probably not sell cthe same, I'd guess.
