viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24175&p=559037#p559037Hi there!
After a few years of painting for a few days followed by months/years of intermission, I decided to star a new project from scratch with something new. I decided to go for Tyranids since that was one of the few armies we didn't have in our collection.
So, what's different this time? Previously I took a formation/detachment/regiment and started painting it all, one color in every miniature at a time, well, this is all well and good, but after the first batch, a month of work had passed, and as time went by, I started loosing interest. Even If I tried 5 to 10 models at a time I couldn't keep it up after the first batch...

This time, I'm trying to paint 1 to 2 stands a day instead of a whole detachment in a week. This way I can see the army grow a piece at a time instead of a chunk at a time.
So far, it seems to be working! I started on the 10th of October and I've painted 5 Swarms so far!
So, this thread's objective is twofold, to showoff my work (there's no point in having a nice army with no one to show it to) and at the same time, be encouraged by the constructive criticism to keep on treading!
So, without further ado, the progress for the last few weeks (sorry for the crappy pics, need to learn how to take better pis):

Thanks for watching!
Cheers!
