You make me feel less guilty about only putting two bikes to a base! Your painting is awesome, that's a lot of detail for such tiny models. I like the way you based them on a thin wire.

lol, I thought the name of the thread seemed familiar ::) . and Im glad you got some inspiration from my tanks for your stuff, cus I like the guardian scheme you did better then what I tried (basically inverted your colors - blue heads and white/grey bodies) so Im probably going to try a stand your way when I get back to painting more eldar. And no they are not finished... any REAL collector knows that your favorite army is never done! lol ;D .

heres as far as I got(link below), then probably got distracted by some other army or some thing ::) . I think I might do some more up soon though cus my small epic community is starting to take off(and by take off i mean get people interested in the game and actually buying armies) now that a local GW employee put a warlord into the display cabinet at the store(not even painted!). So with any luck all my hard work (literary at least 2 years in the making) will sprout some new player flowers! ;D .

Thanks Aaron. Looking at you thread, i hadn't realised just how similar mine are to yours ! Let's call it a tribute... :whistle

I'm not sure about white infantry. I like a nice simple base+wash to do my stuff. 1hr per unit is about my attention span :-) Works great on the blue, but white is tricky seeing as GW doesn't do a mid grey wash. Might try making my own with their clear medium, but thinking of reconsidering doing all my aspect warriors in white body suits...

Which Craftworld do yours hail from? I was obviously inspired by FW's Malan'tai but now leaning toward Iybraesil . Might lead into a Crone world "fallen/dark eldar/chaos force one day...

I'm also trying to plant some Epic seeds down in my patch... At the moment i can occasionally get a game with old friends but only if i supply all equipment. Most are too busy nowadays for painting armies with babies and stuff and i don't play with silver-soldiers (let's be honest it's just an excuse so i can buy/paint many armies :-D) Might have to get my warlord in the local GW ! Heaven knows why GW hasn't tried re-releasing a new version of titan legions as their "game in a box" one year - giant robots are probably their most inspiring noob attractor after space marines -. Let's be honest, we'd all like a Forgeworld titan but only a few can shell out £300+. Sure it would sell better than dodgy pirate ships?

Looking forward to seeing more of your spelfs.

Ok, so its been a slack month - plenty of buying/renovating houses, friend's weddings, holdiays - but crap on the much more important mini soldier's front...

Anyway, these guys will have to be the months total - 300 points if i stretch it by 25pts with Epic UKs list ;D

And yes, i know its the wrong rune on the Wraith Guard, but i tried the double diamond and from table-top-distance it looks liked they had scuba goggles on... not going to inspire fear in the hearts of the mon-kai enemy. So went for the generic "soldier" rune instead.

Sorry about the crappy pics too. All "epic" fail (sorry, couldn't resist.) :-[
