Howards army (He described it as a scouting army
2 x warlord bg's
1 x Reaver bg
1 x knight household
My Army
1 x warlord bg
1 x knight household
1 x knight lancer household
1 x knight lancer det
1 x maurader fighter bomber
2 x tg titan defence companies
My mate deployed all in one corner. I deployed more in a line with titans centre and equal troops flanking them.
Turn 1
My 2 warp missiles failed to hit. The knights clashed near an objective and rest of armies moved to close to shooting range.
Turn 2
My lancers take out a warlord titan. One of my warlords gets a reactor breach but repairs in end phase. Luckily one of howards titans fails to repair its breach and blows> 15 vs 34 to me. need 43vp to win or 34 in broken troops.
Turn 3
I Ko a rreaver titan, howard still shooting away at my titans. My knights take alot of incoming fire but their shields work well and am able to make a lot of saves. 15 vs 39
Turn 4
All changes as i loose my knights and a warlord that melts down. end 29 vs 39
Although i scored higher I made some mistakes like shooting at a titan with shields with a non minus weapon getting them mixed up which one i had taken shields down. Shame about my warp missiles aswell but thats what you get with those, they either work well or disappoint. My deployment worked well in i suspected he would put something on the hill (not all his army) and the buildings gave me some cover.
The knight lancers worked well and my titans held their own.
